Issue
When synchronizing data in Basecone, you may receive the following error message:
"Backoffice Server impersonation is not allowed for user [username]"
This error indicates that the user configured for the synchronization does not have permission to use the Backoffice Server impersonation feature in AccountView. As a result, the synchronization between Basecone and AccountView cannot be completed successfully.
Resolution
Step 1: Verify the Username in accountview.net
Log in to your accountview.net environment.
Navigate to General > Modify.
Note the value displayed in the Username field.
You will need this username to locate the correct user account in AccountView.
Step 2: Enable Backoffice Server Impersonation in AccountView
Open AccountView.
Go to:
Documents > System Master Data > Users
Select the username you noted in Step 1.
Open the user settings.
Ensure that the option:
"Allow Backoffice Server impersonation for this user"
is enabled.
If the option is disabled, enable it.
Save the changes.

Save the changes.
Verification After Making the Change
After enabling the setting:

The correct user account was selected.
The changes were saved successfully.
