In Basecone we have different user roles, in addition to the role of super user, you also start as an accountant and authorisation administrator.

You can do authorization management very well via Basecone. Up to 3 authorizers, block the invoice for payment until the last authorizer has approved. This way you keep a grip on the payment process and the invoice flow.

With the 2 steps below, we help you decide whether it's suitable for your office environment and we will give you tips for setting up the workflow.

Step 1: authorization before or after booking

Actually, you can answer this question very easily. Is invoice approved? Then choose after posting. Do you want to check the invoice and/or assign it to a cost center? Then choose before posting.

Step 2: Set up the authorization workflow

Set-up the workflow correctly, from the start. Could you use some help with that? Plan a free online meeting with:
Daniël
Patrick

Would you like to set it up yourself? Then follow these steps below:

  • Create users

  • Create a workflow

  • Choose a default workflow

  • Create a filter or choose exceptions (only with authorization after posting)

  • Choose optional or required (authorization)

  • Choose whether you want to block the invoice for payment* (only with authorization after booking)

📌 You cannot use the authorization module with SnelStart
