What's new?
We've added a toggle in the Upload and Tag screen. This option allows you to skip the Tag details pop-up window while tagging. This makes the process faster and easier, especially when you want to tag multiple documents without any extra steps.
Benefits:
Efficiency: Fewer clicks, faster tagging.
Flexibility: You decide whether you want to see the details or not.
How does the ‘Skip tag details pop-up’ toggle work?
Purpose:
The toggle determines whether the Tag details pop-up window is displayed when tagging a document.
Toggle is OFF: The pop-up window appears as usual when tagging.
When the toggle is ON:
The system checks the Authorisation before posting setting for the selected tag per user. This can be found under Settings, Companies(edit), Workflow tab, Authorisation per document type.
Depending on this authorisation setting, the pop-up window may be skipped.
Conditions for skipping the Tag Details pop-up:
To ensure that the Tag Details pop-up does not appear during tagging, the following steps must be performed:
Enable the toggle
Go to the Upload and Tag screen and set the Skip Tag Details Pop-up setting to ON.
Configure authorisation settings
Navigate to Settings, Companies (edit)→ Workflow tab and go to Authorisation by document type.
Set No authorisation for the purchase and sale tags under Authorisation before posting.
Result:
After selecting a tag in the Upload and Tag screen, the Tag Details pop-up is skipped and the document is tagged immediately.
Enable Pop-up Tag Details:
To ensure that the Pop-up Tag Details appear during tagging, the following steps must be performed:
Enable the toggle
Go to the Upload and Tag screen and set the Skip Tag Details Pop-up setting to ON.Configure authorisation settings
Navigate to Settings, Companies (edit), Workflow tab.
Set Authorisation required or Authorisation optional for the purchase and sale tags under Authorisation before posting.
Result:
After selecting a tag in the Upload and Tag screen, the Tag Details pop-up is displayed and the authorisation details can be entered.
How does the Tag Details pop-up work with custom tags?
Enable the toggle
Go to the Upload and Tag screen and set the Skip Tag Details Pop-up setting to ON.
Configure authorisation settings
Navigate to Settings, Companies (edit)→ Workflow tab and go to Authorisation by document type. Set No authorization
Result: If custom tags exist, the pop-up window will appear so you can select multiple custom tags. If no custom tags have been created, the pop-up window will not be displayed.
