Basecone automatically retrieves changes in master data from your connected accounting system. This ensures that you always have access to up-to-date master data during the booking process, such as:

  • VAT codes

  • General ledger accounts

  • Cost centers

  • Relationship data (customers, suppliers)

  • Other master data

Synchronisation occurs in the background, keeping your data current and accurate.

Monitoring Synchronisation

You can monitor the progress of synchronisation via the Synchronisation menu. This feature is available to users with the Superuser role. Errors can be detected per administration.

User Settings for Synchronisation

Basecone uses the user from your accounting system who is linked to the Basecone user designated as the Synchronisation User. This setting is managed by the administrator of your environment.

⚠️ Synchronisation will only work if the linked user in your accounting system has sufficient access rights to:

  • Administrations

  • Users

  • Master data files

Issues with Synchronisation

Are your master data not being updated?

As a Superuser, you can manually start the synchronisation. This is only recommended if you urgently need a specific change in your master data.

Note: Manual synchronisation can only be triggered once every 15 minutes.

➡️ To do this:
Go to Settings > Synchronisation > Click on the relevant administration > Start synchronisation.

If you still experience issues after a manual synchronisation, you can request a full synchronisation from the support team via the message icon in Basecone.
